Big Names, Not-So-Big Gains

The Pensions & Investments news website reported on a study by Associate Professor Ken Yook and Senior Lecturer Jeffrey Hooke stating that the buyout-fund results of some large, big-name financial firms are only slightly above average. The funds of smaller, lesser-known firms perform approximately as well, Yook and Hooke wrote in their paper, which appeared in the winter 2016 issue of The Journal of Private Equity.
